Introduction of group

Biotechnology is generic term of the technology which utilizes the living thing and the function of the living thing for industrialization.  Our group is professional for biotechnology and aims for the development and those industrial use of new enzymes from the microorganism.  Moreover, we have gone the research for the industrial use of microorganism itself and the control of microorganism such as anti-bacterium and the sterilization.  In addition, we work on a new research like rational design for stabilization and optimum pH shift of enzyme by protein engineering for industrialization.

Member of the group

Nobuaki Fujiwara (Senior researcher, Doctor of Engineering)

Akihiko Masui (Senior researcher, Doctor of Engineering)

Satoshi Ikawa (Researcher, Doctor of Agriculture)
